Job Description
The Regional Onboarding Operations Manager is responsible the end‑to‑end offer‑to‑onboard process across the region. This role ensures operational excellence, regional compliance, and a consistent, high‑quality new‑hire experience while serving as the key regional champion for onboarding.
This role will manage a team of onboarding specialists responsible for executing a seamless and compliant process from offer acceptance through a new hire’s first day. This leader ensures timely workflow execution, oversees all onboarding operations, and partners with regional business and HR stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. The role balances hands‑on operational oversight with people leadership and process optimization.
End‑to‑End Offer‑to‑Onboarding Management
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Job Description

End‑to‑End Offer‑to‑Onboarding Management
- Oversee the complete onboarding lifecycle including offer acceptance, contract creation, preboarding tasks, background checks, start‑date management, and first‑day readiness.
- Ensure all onboarding workflows are executed accurately, on time, and in alignment with global standards.
- Monitor operational SLAs, turnaround times, and quality metrics to ensure consistent delivery across the region.
- Serve as the escalation point for issues impacting candidate readiness, delays, or documentation challenges.
- Manage, coach, and develop a regional pod of onboarding specialists, including both contractors and full‑time employees
- Oversee daily workload distribution and resource planning to meet high‑volume regional demands.
- Ensure proper data entry, audit accuracy, and process compliance across systems (Workday, ServiceNow, ATS).
- Foster a high‑performance culture focused on service, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for regional hiring and onboarding requirements, including labor laws, right‑to‑work regulations, pre‑employment checks, and data privacy standards.
- Maintain strong partnerships with Legal, Compliance, and HR to ensure all onboarding activities meet local and global compliance expectations.
- Act as the primary regional point of contact for Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, IT, Facilities, and business leaders.
- Provide regular updates on onboarding volumes, risks, and improvements.
- Build strong partnerships to ensure readiness for new‑hire start dates and proactive issue resolution.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, workflow bottlenecks, and regional variations. Develop and implement improvement solutions.
- Drive standardization and optimization of onboarding processes across the region.
- Partner with global teams to support broader transformation initiatives, system upgrades, and process redesign efforts.
- Champion best practices and adoption of Workday, ServiceNow, and other workflow tools.
- Ensure an exceptional, consistent onboarding experience for new hires from offer acceptance through day one.
- Oversee communication and case resolution for candidates and hiring managers.
- Monitor feedback and regional experience metrics, using insights to enhance process quality.

- 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, onboarding operations, or related fields, including people management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
- Hands‑on proficiency with HR technology platforms (Workday HCM & ATS, ServiceNow).
- Strong understanding of regional onboarding regulatory requirements and employment practices.
- Demonstrated experience managing operational workflows in complex or high‑volume environments.
- Strong operational mindset with experience setting SLAs, tracking KPIs, and improving processes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship‑building skills.
- High attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to resolve complex onboarding issues.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones and in partnership with global teams.
- High degree of discretion and professionalism with sensitive information.
