Job Description

The Card Benefits Platform & Affluent Channels team oversees the end-to-end product development lifecycle of core infrastructure, omni channel ecosystems, and enabling product functions in support of Visa’s card benefit & Affluent segment businesses.

Reporting into the Head of Platforms for Card Benefits and Affluent, we are looking for a Platform Lead to serve as a key member of the Product leadership team. You will shape and accelerate the initiatives that define the next chapter of our organization.

In this role, you will own the multi-year platform strategy, technical roadmap, and delivery of scalable, innovative solutions to power affluent card benefits (concierge, travel privileges, eligibility, access) and experiences (web, mobile, agentic). This role is ideal for someone with a desire to dig into enterprise grade platforms and reimagine the art of the possible in an AI-first world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define product vision and multi-year roadmap for card benefit platforms, aligning with Visa’s premium growth priorities. Product catalogue will include new 0-1 services and existing capabilities, including: VDBP, VCES, VTOQ, and VFS.
  • Lead a team of senior product managers, technical product managers, and the relationships with cross-functional partners such as Technology to deliver high-impact platform capabilities and features
  • Oversee end-to-end platform development, modernization, integrations, and ecosystem expansions to support the scale demands of the affluent business
  • Own, support and scale the operations that enable benefits, including the end-to-end onboarding, configuration, billing, reporting and incident management
  • Partner closely with key vendors, technical product managers, engineering, operations, compliance, and legal teams to build scalable, compliant solutions
  • Champion innovation, competitive differentiation, thought leadership, operational excellence, and risk mitigation

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD

We'd Love To Hear From You If You Have

10+ years of progressive experience in product management, platform leadership, and technical strategy.

Deep expertise within enterprise grade, regulated enterprises like financial services, payments, or banking

Proven track record of leading large-scale platform development, API ecosystems, integrations, and DevOps environments

Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and visual—with fluency in executive storytelling and change management

Willing to flex across strategy and execution. Most roles in our org require ‘do-ers’ and this role is no different.

The estimated salary range for this position is $192,300.00 to $ 307,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
