Job Description
Client Services provides industry-leading operational support to Visa’s clients around the world. With our deep knowledge and expertise, we are a key internal partner to product and technology, bringing the voice of the customer into the design, development and successful deployment of Visa products and services, and enabling our client facing teams to deliver and scale new products in the market.
This role is an individual contributor, responsible for managing infrastructure related projects with high complexity, along with applying independent judgment in resolving issues and making recommendations. This role involves gathering and documenting project requirements, as well as offering consultative guidance to clients regarding Visa regulations, features, and functionality. The main duties include providing project management support to Visanet Endpoint clients, such as issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants, and service providers.

Basic Qualifications: 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications: 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD 4 or more years of relevant professional experience with strong hands-on knowledge of project management, technology, IT infrastructure, and enterprise applications. Demonstrated ability to independently manage medium- to high-complexity implementation initiatives, exercising sound judgment to resolve issues and meet delivery commitments. Strong English communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally in written, verbal, and presentation settings. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel, maintain execution discipline, and operate effectively in structured, deadline-driven environments. Experience using AI‑powered tools or automation technologies to improve analysis, documentation quality, operational efficiency, or client delivery outcomes. Brings foundational experience, a working knowledge of the payments ecosystem, and a results-driven, client-focused mindset, with the ability to learn quickly and apply guidance effectively. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience in implementations, or technology role within software, financial services, or payments. Demonstrated ability to coordinate directly with clients to gather implementation and program setup requirements, and to successfully deliver new installations, conversions, and maintenance activities with no adverse operational impact. Strong experience overseeing multiple concurrent project initiatives, primarily involving Visa Endpoint connections, systems, and applications, using established project management best practices. Ability to effectively coordinate internal and external project resources, ensuring project deliverables, milestones, and commitments are achieved on time and within scope. Experience partnering closely with technology and product teams to understand new business initiatives and assess impacts to existing and future client programs. Ability to provide consultative guidance to clients on implementation requirements, Visa capabilities, operational impacts, and delivery considerations. Strong ability to prioritize across competing demands, manage ambiguity, and maintain delivery discipline in fast-paced client-facing environments. Demonstrated ability to make sound delivery decisions within defined governance, escalate at-risk initiatives effectively, and maintain client confidence during complex implementations. High degree of ownership and accountability for assigned work, with the ability to independently identify issues, take initiative, and drive resolution under deadline pressure. Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, recommend, and drive process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, and overall client satisfaction. Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building and maintaining positive working relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders. Experience preparing and maintaining comprehensive project artifacts, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, risk and issue logs, in alignment with Visa processes, methodologies, and client requirements. Proven ability to manage project communications effectively, including dashboards, meeting documentation, and executive updates, ensuring timely and consistent information flow to all relevant stakeholders. Experience reporting project status, accomplishments, risks, and deliverables to leadership and cross-functional partners. Ability to provide training and knowledge transfer to internal and cross-functional teams, as applicable. Willingness and flexibility to support off‑hours work, including late evenings and weekends, as required for client and company configuration changes, cutovers, and post‑production validation activities.

Essential Function
- Provide Project Management implementation support to Visa Endpoint clients (financial institutions and processors) operating in the NA region, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
- Coordinate directly with clients to understand their program setup requirements, facilitate new program installations, conversions and maintenance requests without operational impact.
- Manage a wide variety of project initiatives, primarily with Visanet Endpoint clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and service providers), using Project Management best practices and skills.
- Coordinate efforts with other internal and external project resources to ensure deliverables and commitments are met.
- Work closely with Visa’s technology and product teams to understand new business initiatives, as well as impact on current and new client programs.
- Manage non-routine, complex processing and change requests, related to tactical and strategic client initiatives.
- Responsible for own workflow assignments and must be able to take initiative to resolve problems and meet deadlines.
- Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement resulting in improved efficiency and effectiveness, and increased customer satisfaction.
- Build and enhance positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project Artifacts, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, issues logs in support of client projects and/or initiatives. Apply Visa processes and approaches to be in line with client requirements.
- Manage internal and external project communications (meeting minutes, dashboards, etc.), providing regular and consistent updates to appropriate parties.
- Report on client project accomplishments and deliverables to management and different stakeholders.
- Assume appropriate decision-making authorities to ensure flawless execution of project objectives.
- Provide training to internal and/or cross-functional teams, as applicable.
- This position requires off scheduled work including late evenings / weekends in support of client and company configuration changes and associated post-production validation.
- Leverage Al-enabled and agentic tools to improve implementation execution, documentation quality, analysis, and identify practical opportunities to enhance delivery processes and client outcomes.
