Job Description

The Role

This newly created role will support Visa’s Payments Acceptance (Acquiring) partnership with a Tier 1 Australian Financial Institution.

The role sits at the centre of a complex, high-profile partnership spanning scheme compliance, risk, data, commercial governance and value-added services, and plays a critical role in delivering partnership outcomes and growth initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead day-to-day management of the Partnership as a senior point of contact.
  • Own the partnership operating model, including governance forums, cadence, and executive-level reporting.
  • Manage complex workstreams across scheme compliance, risk, data, and performance management.
  • Track, govern and generate reporting on contractual and commercial obligations.
  • Support the execution and governance of an expanded Partnership model, including oversight of investment commitments.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across product, risk, advisory, finance and legal to deliver joint initiatives and resolve issues.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

What You’ll Bring

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating autonomously.

Strong experience in payments, acquiring, or financial services.

Demonstrated understanding of scheme rules, risk and data environments, and commercial governance.

Proven ability to manage complex institutional client relationships and senior stakeholders.

Strong commercial judgement with experience managing partnership commercial frameworks.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
