Job Description

The Client Services Service Operations Excellence organization supports the integrity, scalability, and continuous improvement of Visa global Client Services operations. We are seeking a Licensing Analyst - Numerics and Process Improvement to support Numerics request processing while contributing to data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.

This role combines hands on operational responsibilities related to Numerics with analytical and improvement focused work. The Licensing Analyst partners closely with internal stakeholders across Client Services, Product, Technology, and Implementation teams to ensure accurate handling of Numerics requests, strong data quality, and effective support of programs and initiatives.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, analytical, and execution focused, with the ability to manage operational activities alongside improvement initiatives in a fast paced, regulated, and globally distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities

Numerics Processing and Program Support

  • Process and manage Numerics related requests in accordance with Visa rules, policies, and documented procedures, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Monitor specific Numerics programs that support licensing requirements and the ongoing integrity of Visa data.
  • Provide operational assessment and day to day support to internal and external clients related to BINs and other transactional numerics.
  • Assist with monitoring and quality assessment activities, including internal reviews and audits, as assigned.
  • Maintain and update Numerics communication channels and reference materials to ensure content is current, client focused, and effective such as InSite and Visa Access.
  • Participate in operational and reporting activities supporting new products or services such as Tokenization and implementation efforts.
  • Assist Customer Support and Operations teams with Level 2 or higher Numerics scenarios, including guidance and basic training where appropriate.
  • Escalate issues, exceptions, or situations outside established policy to leadership with supporting facts and potential options.
  • Build awareness and understanding of Numerics programs, rules, policies, and processes with targeted internal audiences.

Data, Reporting and Process Improvement

  • Analyze operational, process, and performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities across Client Services.
  • Pull, validate, and analyze operational data to answer defined business questions and support reporting requirements.
  • Develop, manage, and track metrics and KPIs and produce reports and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Apply established metrics and KPIs to track workload, performance trends, risks, and data quality.
  • Identify and flag data quality issues such as missing data, duplicates, and anomalies and support corrective actions.
  • Assist in documenting current state and future state processes, procedures, controls, and RACIs.
  • Identify opportunities for improved ways of working, including enhancements to processes, reporting, automation, or collaboration with key partners.
  • Prepare clear reports and presentations using approved templates to communicate insights, progress, and outcomes.
  • Support change management, training materials, and knowledge sharing activities related to process or tool updates.

Professional and Cross Functional Responsibilities

  • Represent Numerics operational requirements to internal teams such as Product, Systems, PMO, Implementation, and Technology, as assigned.
  • Manage a high volume of work with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines.

  • Apply sound judgment, considering broader business impact, and escalate issues in a timely manner with potential solutions.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Education - Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Professional Experience - Required

  • 4 to 8 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent operational experience.

Technical - Required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
  • Understanding and preferably working expertise in Visa databases and workflow tools such as VCIS, MSD, Playbook, or similar systems.
  • Exposure to data visualization or business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Power Automate or Generative AI concepts.

Business - Required

  • Working knowledge of the payments industry.
  • Proven ability to set priorities and deliver results in a busy, shifting environment.
  • Knowledge of end to end licensing and numerics processes, business drivers, and internal and external client expectations.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to apply a customer perspective to improve internal processes and outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in payments, financial services, or a regulated operational environment.
  • Ability to explain data or process concepts clearly in writing and presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and domains in a continuously evolving environment.
