Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Own and develop relationships with top merchants and acquirers across Central Asia, leading end‑to‑end commercialization of Visa’s business development objectives.
  • Strengthen and expand Visa’s impact within assigned accounts by driving adoption of Visa payment products, solutions, and value‑added services.
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior client stakeholders, including C‑level executives, through strong consultative engagement and commercial leadership.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively address F2F acquiring and eCommerce trends, opportunities, and risks across Central Asia.
  • Qualify and quantify market‑specific opportunities in close collaboration with local teams, ensuring alignment with sub‑regional priorities.
  • Contribute actively to market strategy, business planning, and execution, turning insights into tangible growth initiatives.
  • Drive initiatives to increase Visa acceptance, unlock underpenetrated merchant segments, support SME enablement, and promote financial literacy.
  • Develop deep expertise in Visa’s products, solutions, and the broader payments ecosystem to enable proactive, value‑driven selling.
  • Provide structured feedback to internal teams on product enhancements, pricing, market requirements, and localization opportunities.
  • Lead initiatives to grow consumer payments, B2B solutions, and the penetration of value‑added services with power clients.
  • Facilitate co‑brand initiatives with merchants and issuers across the full lifecycle: prospecting, lead development, business case creation, negotiations, contracting, and launch.
  • Support co‑brand programs post‑launch, including performance management, upselling, renewals, and extensions to ensure sustainable profitability.
  • Define, align, and deliver business objectives in line with sub‑regional merchant sales plans, coordinating execution within budget and resource constraints.
  • Collaborate closely with local teams, sub‑regional stakeholders, and Dubai‑based teams across business, technical, legal, and service dimensions.
  • Support consultancy engagements with acquirers, merchants, ISVs, TPAs, and ecosystem partners.
  • Represent Visa externally at industry conferences, client events, and public forums as appropriate.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Strong background in payments, digital products, and eCommerce business development, with a proven ability to manage pipelines, negotiate agreements, and deliver commercial results.

Demonstrated success in sales, relationship management, and complex negotiations, including engagement with senior and C‑level client executives.

Solid understanding of eCommerce and acquiring models, and their implications for networks, acquirers, and merchants.

Strong commercial acumen; prior product P&L responsibility is an advantage.

Analytical and customer‑centric mindset, with the ability to design compelling, profitable customer value propositions (CVPs).

Comfortable operating within the Visa Leadership Principles: Lead Courageously, Collaborate as One Visa, Obsess about Customers, Execute with Excellence.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across cultures and geographies.

Languages: Fluent English and Russian required; Kazakh or Uzbek is a strong advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and GPT‑based AI tools.

Dynamic, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities across time zones.
