Job Description

Job Summary

The Manager of Brazil and South Cone - Corporate, Employee, and Professional (CEP) services categories leverages multiple sources of internal and external data to support category strategies that ultimately drive a competitive advantage and value for Visa Inc. As a key support role for the Global Sourcing organization, you are accountable for understanding various tools, data sets and processes. You will need a strong sense of urgency and the ability balance short vs. long term needs. This role will work closely with the Global and Regional category leads for CEP Services and will also independently lead deals based on the category strategy

  • In Professional Services, the Manager will have exposure to the management consulting and Information services supply market and multiple cross functional business users to include to include Corporate Finance, Risk, HR, Strategy and Client Services. Key external partners for the category include Deloitte, Ernst & Young, PWC, Accenture, McKinsey & BCG.
  • For Employee Services, the Manager will have exposure to support the Human Resources functions to enable supply market solutions for Talent Acquisition, Relocation, Benefits and Payroll Services.
  • For Corporate Services, the Manager will have exposure to support the Corporate Services function to deliver sustainable results across the subcategories for Facilities, Security services, and Construction Services.

All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in or manage procurement activities for professional & strategy services, facilities, human resources, financial, and AI enablement services to ensure delivery at specified times and locations.
  • Evaluate, select, monitor, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Analyze purchasing needs, including cost and performance analysis.
  • Forecast supply requirements and issue periodic reports on trends.
  • Negotiate pricing, discounts, and contracts; review and approve purchases up to a specified dollar amount.
  • Recommend and/or approve policies and procedures for procurement operations.
  • Monitor cost, schedule, and performance aspects of major subcontracts.
  • Coordinate purchasing activities with other departments.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in procurement or sourcing activities.
  • Experience in vendor evaluation and relationship management.
  • Experience in cost and performance analysis for purchasing needs.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and approval processes.
  • Experience in developing or recommending procurement policies and procedures.
  • Experience in monitoring subcontractor performance.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-departmental purchasing activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
  • Experience in contract and agreement negotiation, including development of negotiating plans and strategies for business and commercial contracts.
  • Knowledge and understanding of merger and acquisition activities to support contract lifecycle management and migration.
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively with partners at all levels on a global scale.
  • Experience managing multiple projects/initiatives and work streams simultaneously.
