Job Description
What it's all about-
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.
Within VCA exists VCA Implementation Services (VIS), a hands-on execution partner, implementing, operating, and optimizing Visa products in client environments to accelerate activation, portfolio growth, risk control, and data-driven performance.
The role is not a pure engineering role. Success is defined by the ability to translate complex client problems into credible, scalable technology solutions, influence senior stakeholders, partner with the business to enhance pre‑sales and RFP activity, and build the supporting team and supplier ecosystem to execute.
What We Expect Of You, Day To Day
As the VIS Technology & Solutioning Director you will own the technical components of VIS offerings. You will guide clients through assessing their current technical architecture, defining future‑state designs, and delivering complex implementation and integration programmes.
You will also play a critical role internally — setting technical direction, building repeatable frameworks, and enabling delivery teams across Europe to implement Visa and partner solutions effectively and consistently
Technology Vision, Strategy & Architecture
Qualifications
What we'd like from you -
Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status. Visa will also consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with EEOC guidelines and applicable local law.

- Maintain a strong point of view on the payments and banking technology landscape, including processors, platforms, SaaS and system integrators.

- Influence internal product and platform roadmaps to ensure solutions can be deployed, integrated and scaled effectively for clients.
- Design and evolve the VIS technology operating model, including roles, governance, engagement with Delivery and regional execution models.
- Build, grow and develop a high‑impact, pan‑European technology leadership and implementation capability.

- Maintain accountability for solution viability through delivery without owning day‑to‑day engineering execution.
- Ensure delivery teams are appropriately structured, governed and supported to meet client outcomes.
- Own regional‑level outcomes rather than isolated programme delivery.
- Lead technical governance, manage escalations and navigate complex client and internal environments.
