Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Develop and execute the product strategy for Payment Rails in Brazil, Latin America and globally, leading the mapping and integrations for the evolution of the Pismo Core Banking platform to support multiple use cases in the region, mainly those focused on PIX, Bre-B, CoDi and other payment systems, domestically and internationally.
  • Support the development of the expansion strategy for countries and regions that are part of our global expansion plan;
  • Support Pismo teams and the partnership team in finding the most suitable partners and providers for the products to be enabled, ensuring efficient integrations with payment and financial services providers.
  • Ensure evolution of products and features, supporting current and new clients, as well as monitoring industry standards, market trends and tech innovations. Mapping needs, insights and feedback from our clients, prospects and market.
  • As Product Manager, together with other Payment Rails Product Managers, support the squad's product vision, developing the product roadmap, aiming the delivery of value to clients (current and future) and to Pismo Strategy;
  • Evaluate and discuss, together with engineering and business areas, potential approaches for implementing the product roadmap: build, partner, buy.
  • Structuring and improving product solutions throughout their entire life cycle, from their conception to the evolution of the service, from a technical and business perspective.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, together with other Payment Rails Product Managers, using appropriate criteria for recommendations and decisions about priorities and team allocation in developments.
  • Work together with engineering, discuss products and prioritization, based on agile methods to deliver value in a continuous and increasing way.
  • Cooperate and work together with other teams to develop “cross squad” solutions with dependencies and greater scale.
  • Work closely with the sales and pre-sales teams to understand customer requirements. Assist in product demonstrations, presentations, and RFP responses during pre-sales engagements
  • Ensure product scalability, including non-functional aspects such as integrity, resilience and scalability; together with the engineering team

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.

Qualifications

  • Advanced English
  • 4+ years of experience in product management, with solid background in discovery and delivery within complex and scalable environments
  • Proven experience managing financial and payment products, especially in Real-Time and Instant Payments in Brazil
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end payment flows (cash-in/cash-out), including settlement, reconciliation, and transaction processing from both technical and financial perspectives
  • Experience in B2B financial services and banking, with a solid understanding of business dynamics and offered services
  • Strong knowledge of payment rails integrations, including domestic and international systems, with emphasis on LAC payment systems and market regulations
  • Experience monitoring regulatory requirements and market rules, ensuring compliance and prioritization of platform/service adjustments
  • Technical experience with: APIs and microservices architecture in cloud environments, Platform products (backend-focused) and integrations with internal and external systems, solution architecture in distributed/multi-domain environments, cloud computing environments
  • Hands-on product management experience, including: Writing specifications and user stories, managing product ceremonies, producing clear documentation for internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Strong strategic thinking, using benchmarking, insights, and feedback to define product evolution. improve services and drive client growth and profitability
  • Be based in Brazil

Desirable Qualifications

  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Knowledge of various payment methods, including: Card networks Real-time and instant payments, Emerging models (e.g., on-us transactions)
  • Understanding of financial markets across different countries and regions in LAC
  • Intermediate to advanced Spanish
