Job Description
The Deal Finance team is a function in Finance responsible for providing financial analysis and deal pricing expertise to compete for client network decisions. The team supports Visa’s largest and most complex deals and is highly visible to executive leadership.
This Senior Manager role will sit on the Deal Finance team and support Global Deals—cross‑regional, high‑stakes commercial opportunities with Big Tech and global clients, with focus on acceptance related negotiations. The role will act as a key finance partner to Global AEs and the Global Deals team, serving as a key finance partner contributing financial analysis and helping shape deal strategy through rigorous modeling, scenario analysis, and clear executive ready recommendations.
The successful candidate will be technically strong (modeling + commercial acumen), comfortable operating in ambiguity, and highly effective with senior stakeholders—able to stand firm constructively and drive alignment across teams with strong, sometimes conflicting views.

The estimated salary range for this position is $149,800.00 to $ 240,100.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Travel Requirements
This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

Essential Functions
Deal Finance Partnership
- Serve as a core finance partner on Global deals, working in close partnership with Global AEs and the Global Deals team to evaluate deal opportunities, contribute to offer structures, and support negotiation strategy in pursuit of Visa’s long‑term growth objectives.
- Drive and support end‑to‑end financial analysis for global deals, including
- Structuring client/Visa negotiated commitments and associated pricing
- Developing and maintaining detailed financial models (e.g., Visa P&L, projected cash flow, amortization schedules)
- Performing no‑deal and alternative scenario analysis and sizing financial impact from volume migration
- Provide clear, executive‑ready financial insights and recommendations that balance financial, strategic, and operational considerations; surface risks, tradeoffs, and decision points to enable timely, well‑informed decisions
- Review and support approval of contracts and incentive agreements in partnership with Legal
- Work closely with the Global Deals team to align analysis, storyline, and deal materials; support development and validation of executive‑level materials. May include partnering with regional finance and pricing teams when market‑level incentives are required; ensure appropriate SMEs are engaged and local inputs are incorporated into the overall deal economics
- Actively contribute to deal structuring discussions and working teams, helping reconcile financial, strategic, and operational perspectives across stakeholders and regions
- Build deal infrastructure to support continuity and scalability, including: standardized models, deal trackers, and process improvements that reduce cycle time and improve quality
- Support training and enablement for internal teams on acceptance economics, deal metrics, and best practices
- Effectively influence and partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Pricing, Global Deals, and Sales—driving alignment while navigating competing priorities and strong points of view
- Demonstrate sound judgment, urgency, and structured problem-solving in fast-moving, ambiguous deal environments
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 6+ years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., MBA, Masters, JD)
- Financial transaction analysis, pricing, commercial finance, investment / valuation analysis (payments experience is a plus)
- Advanced Excel/modeling skills with ability to build and explain multi-scenario economics and sensitivities
- Analytical Rigor – Proven experience supporting complex, multi‑stakeholder commercial negotiations, with the ability to distill complex analysis into clear, executive‑ready narratives and materials
- Structured Thinker – Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with multiple decision-makers; demonstrated ability to bring structure, drive clarity, and manage parallel workstreams
- Executive Communicator – Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills; ability to translate complex financial constructs for non-financial audiences
