Job Description
The Manager will be a member of the Commercial & Money Movement, Strategic Initiatives team. This team is responsible for driving large, multi-year strategic initiatives in North America for one of Visa’s fastest growing business divisions – Commercial & Money Movement. The role will have an initial focus on Visa’s Commercial Enhanced Data Program (CEDP), and will expand to cover other large strategic initiatives within the North America region.

The estimated salary range for this position is $146,200.00 to $ 233,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
Work Hours
Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements
This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

Job Description

Essential Functions
- Support strategy development, lead implementation, and execution for major initiatives, with an initial focus on Visa’s Commercial Enhanced Data Program (CEDP).
- Provide analysis and insights on program metrics for key partners across issuing, acquiring and merchant teams.
- Provide program status updates to stakeholders at all levels with applicable detail based on the targeted audience.
- Provide status updates to clients with strategic, data-based insights.
- Apply strategic insights from analysis and insights to inform program evolution moving forward.
- Collaborate with business lines across Regional and Functional areas.
- Lead quantitative and qualitative analysis and communicate and generate support for recommendations among business leaders across the organization.
- Support ad-hoc projects such as strategic client meetings, M&A evaluations, market sizing, and product strategy.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- 3+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
- Bachelor's degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience required
- Management consulting, investment banking, internal consulting or equivalent experience (3+ years) required
- Payments industry experience a plus
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently within a complex and often ambiguous environment
- Ability to develop content independently and prioritize workflow with limited supervision
- Ability to handle multiple large project workstreams
- Proven success in synthesizing large data sets related to a wide variety of functional business problems
- Eagerness to work in cross-functional, regional teams with personnel of all levels to accomplish project objectives
- Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages in written and verbal communications
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to build credibility as a "peer" with Regional Functions and Sales teams
- Ability to make compelling presentations and influence senior leaders
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
