Job Description
The Sr. Director; Software Engineering leads the development and delivery of software solutions that address complex business challenges and enhance user experience. This role is responsible for overseeing the Payment Products Development team, ensuring the creation of high-quality products and features from initial concept through final deployment. The Sr. Director is expected to drive innovation, adaptability, and readiness to respond to evolving team requirements, while maintaining accountability for release deployments and post-deployment support.
All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
12+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 15+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience in leading software engineering teams in the development and delivery of complex applications.
Experience in managing end-to-end product lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Experience in agile methodologies and continuous integration practices.
Experience in risk assessment, effort scoping, and stakeholder communication.
Experience in automation frameworks and core product code contribution.
Preferred Qualifications
15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience.
Experience in driving innovation and adaptability within engineering teams.
Experience in post-deployment support and release management.
Experience in data governance and system infrastructure.
Experience in communicating technical status and risks to diverse stakeholders.
