Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's consulting division, partnering with clients—including issuers, acquirers, and merchants—to solve complex strategic challenges and drive performance improvement. Drawing on expertise across strategy consulting, payments, data analytics, marketing, and operations, VCA delivers impactful, measurable results. Within VCA, VCA Implementation Services brings these strategies to life by delivering the operational capabilities and executional excellence our clients need.
As a Senior Manager, Operations – Card Benefits, you will define and drive the regional operations strategy for Visa’s card benefits program. You’ll lead transformation initiatives that establish scalable operating frameworks, enhance delivery performance, and strengthen cross-market collaboration. This role is ideal for a strategic operator and people leader who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complexity, and inspires a team to achieve sustainable, high-impact outcomes.
The Core Responsibilities Of The Role Include
Based in Bangalore, this position plays a key role in scaling Visa’s Implementation Services capabilities across Asia Pacific—enabling diversification of Visa’s revenue streams through premium benefits programs. You’ll own the operational foundations that ensure exceptional issuer and cardholder experiences, building partnerships within Visa and externally with clients and vendors. Your leadership will directly contribute to driving Visa’s mission of delivering trusted, high-quality services that strengthen our regional value proposition.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

- Shape and Scale Operations: Lead the transformation of Visa’s card benefits operations across Asia Pacific, designing scalable frameworks, automation opportunities, and governance models to support long-term growth.
- Own Client Onboarding and Delivery: Oversee onboarding for new issuers and markets, managing vendor relationships, contracts, and financial processes—including POs, renewals, and top-ups—to ensure seamless implementation.
- Build Capabilities and Lead Talent: Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing operations team, championing a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Operational Intelligence and Insight: Define and implement analytics and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into performance, benefits utilisation, and commercial optimisation opportunities.
- Drive Financial Discipline: Oversee billing, revenue, and expense recognition, ensuring accurate and efficient financial management across multiple markets.
- Vendor and Partner Leadership: Build and manage strategic vendor partnerships, driving consistency, efficiency, and value across service delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key internal stakeholders—such as finance, sourcing and legal—to optimise processes and enhance operational outcomes.
- Strategic Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor to regional leadership and market leads on operational strategy, cost optimization, and delivery excellence. Ensure at all times timely and relevant communication.
- Lead Through Ambiguity: Navigate complex, evolving business contexts with agility and composure, bringing clarity, alignment, and focus to teams and stakeholders.
- Champion Innovation: Lead or support special projects that modernise processes, expand services, and enhance client and cardholder experiences across Asia Pacific.

Qualifications

- Proven ability to define operational strategy and build scalable processes for long-term success.
- Deep experience managing vendors, contracts, and commercial negotiations, including rate setting and performance review.
- Strong financial acumen to manage budgets, forecasts, and multi-market billing accuracy.
- Demonstrated success as a people leader, fostering high-performing, collaborative, and empowered teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to influence and align across functions and geographies.
- Strong organisational discipline, attention to detail, and results orientation.
- Experience thriving in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments that require both strategic vision and operational agility.
- 12+ years of professional experience in operations, consulting, or program management.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Experience in consulting, managed services, or large-scale operations within payments or financial services.
- Familiarity with card products, loyalty programs, or premium benefit ecosystems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical tools.
- Proven experience leading automation, transformation, or process redesign initiatives.
