Job Description
Visa is seeking a passionate, authentic, and execution-oriented professional to join the Finance AI Acceleration Office as a Senior Manager, reporting to a Senior Director within Finance. The FAAO is responsible for accelerating the adoption and scaling of AI across Finance, embedding AI into everyday work, enabling productivity and decision improvements, and supporting the transformation of core Finance processes in a secure and governed manner.
This role will play a hands-on leadership role in driving AI initiatives from concept through delivery, partnering closely with Finance, Technology, and Transformation teams to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions. The Senior Manager will help operationalize Finance’s AI strategy by managing a portfolio of AI initiatives, supporting citizen led innovation, and enabling the transition of proven use cases into enterprise grade solutions aligned with Finance priorities.
The Finance AI Acceleration Office works closely with Finance Systems Strategy, Technology, and the broader Finance Velocity Office to ensure AI solutions are thoughtfully designed, effectively delivered, and successfully adopted across Finance.

The estimated salary range for this position is $153,700 to $246,200 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

Key Responsibilities
Product Owner
- Act as a Product Owner for select AI use cases, defining vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog aligned to Finance priorities.
- Own end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that drive effective delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Partner with stakeholders and Technology teams to continuously refine product direction based on user feedback, performance metrics, and evolving business needs.
- Support execution of the Finance AI roadmap by managing a portfolio of AI initiatives aligned to Finance priorities.
- Drive delivery of AI use cases from intake and prioritization through design, build, testing, and launch.
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to translate business problems into clear AI use cases with defined scope, success metrics, and expected benefits.
- Support development of business cases, value assessments, and leadership materials to enable prioritization and investment decisions.
- Manage day-to-day execution of multiple AI workstreams, including plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery of artifacts.
- Track progress and outcomes of AI initiatives, including adoption, productivity impact, and realized benefits.
- Work closely with Technology partners to coordinate development, integrations, enhancements, and ongoing support.
- Act as a connector between Finance teams, AI product owners, and Technology delivery teams to ensure alignment and momentum.
- Facilitate working sessions, design reviews, and stakeholder checkpoints to drive clarity and execution.
- Apply established AI governance standards, architecture guidelines, and delivery guardrails to Finance AI initiatives.
- Support intake, triage, and review processes to ensure AI efforts are aligned with enterprise standards and Finance strategy.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of AI operating processes, templates, and playbooks.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with an advanced degree (MBA, Master’s, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience supporting AI, automation, or advanced analytics initiatives within Finance or adjacent functions.
- Experience working on Finance transformations, with exposure to domains such as Order-to-Cash or Record-to-Report
- MBA is strongly preferred.
- Financial Services, Finance Transformation, and/or Technology Consulting experience.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence a matrixed environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with a bias for execution and results.
