Job Description
The Senior Manager will be part of the Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) Strategy team, responsible for driving large-scale, global strategic initiatives across Visa’s commercial payments business (B2B). This role focuses on accelerating growth in key segments (including small business), supporting entry into new markets, and shaping broader platform strategy.

The estimated salary range for this position is $169,100.00 to $ 270,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
Work Hours
Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements
This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

Job Description
The Senior Manager will be part of the Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) Strategy team, responsible for driving large-scale, global strategic initiatives across Visa’s commercial payments business (B2B). This role focuses on accelerating growth in key segments (including small business), supporting entry into new markets, and shaping broader platform strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, implementation, and execution of high-impact strategic initiatives
- Drive adoption of recommendations by ensuring alignment and follow-through across stakeholders
- Partner with clients and internal teams to test and implement strategic solutions
- Collaborate across regional and functional teams, including Product and Sales
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform strategic recommendations
- Develop clear, compelling materials to influence senior business leaders
- Engage directly with senior leadership (SVP level) on key strategic topics
- Recruit, mentor, and develop junior strategy talent
- Lead or support ad-hoc strategic initiatives, including:
- M&A evaluations
- Market sizing and opportunity assessment
- Strategic client engagements
- Employee engagement initiatives
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7 or more years of relevant work experience with an advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s, JD, PhD)
- Bachelor’s degree from a leading institution or equivalent experience
- Experience in:
- Management consulting
- Investment banking
- Corporate or internal strategy roles
- Payments industry experience (preferred but not required)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to operate independently in a complex, ambiguous environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
- Experience synthesizing large, complex datasets into actionable insights
- Strong executive communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
