Job Description

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa's clients, including card issuers, acquirers, and merchants. The VCA team provides a comprehensive range of consulting services, data analytics and solutions to our clients that address unique challenges in areas such as strategic growth, profitability, risk management and digital strategy.

As a Senior Manager in Technology Advisory, you will lead end-to-end client engagements across payments transformation, technology strategy and support seamless implementation delivery for Visa clients in Thailand. A Senior Manager will also be responsible in managing all resources in the Consulting Delivery Hub in deploying the consultants to engagements across SMT based on capabilities.

Role

The management of the Consulting Delivery Hub is critical in deriving the maximum operating efficiencies and establishing execution excellence for our clients. As a Senior Manager you will be leading the delivery and execution of Visa Consulting and Analytics engagements (focusing on Technology Advisory) for clients in Thailand. In this role, you are expected to:

  • Cultivate relationship with Visa’s clients and partners - Issuers, Acquirers, Merchants & Fintech firms, by being strategically focused, optimize client performance and implement recommendations in areas of customer life cycle management, and new product development and launches.
  • Have oversight, project management responsibility, and a deeper level of involvement in the major long term strategic payments technology engagements.
  • Drive client conversations with the client working team, execute and embed our solutions within the client’s environment. Building content and engagement delivery involves strong project management skills.
  • Work cross-functionally with other Visa teams to bring a holistic solution to our clients leveraging Visa’s rich value-added services (VAS) from functions such as Marketing, Products, Risk, and Merchant Solutions.
  • Develop propositions by closely working with Account Executives in managing the scope of work and project timelines
  • Work across advisory practices (Risk, Digital, Portfolio Optimization, Merchants) to execute engagements across the VCA verticals.

Projects You Will Be a Part Of

  • Working with an issuer client to define future-state payment technology architectures, develop actionable roadmaps and drive successful implementation of complex initiatives across the payment value chain.
  • You will be the project manager of several engagements across SMT, working with the clients’ teams in providing guidance and supporting the teams in executing our solutions.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in retail banking technology or financial services technology consulting will be an added advantage
  • Experience in key issuer technology areas, such as credit card technology architecture design, system migration, technology implementation, technology project management, for both credit and debit cards
  • Consulting experience preferred with payments technology, project management and/or process re-engineering credentials preferred
  • In-market experience and/or knowledge of local culture and industry trends
  • An understanding of statistical analysis, modeling, scoring schemes, etc.
  • Experience in and passion for the power of analytics & technology and a tenacity to implement
