The Senior Manager will synthesize multiple data sources — including MRI-Simmons, Mintel, proprietary Visa research studies, VisaNet transaction data, industry reports, and other internal and external sources — to build compelling, client-ready insights and stories.

This individual will serve as a subject matter expert on payment trends, consumer spending behavior, category dynamics, and emerging commerce shifts that impact marketing activities. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability, strategic thinking, storytelling, and executive-level presentation skills. This person should be comfortable working with data, identifying patterns, developing implications, and presenting insights to both internal stakeholders and external Visa clients.

  • Monitor and analyze business, consumer, category, and payments trends relevant to Visa clients, including financial institutions, merchants, fintechs, and other ecosystem partners.
  • Identify emerging trends and translate them into implications for client marketing strategy, customer engagement, and growth opportunities.
  • Build insight narratives that help clients understand what is changing in the market, why it matters, and how they can respond through marketing initiatives.
  • Develop reusable trend frameworks, category perspectives, and client-ready insights that can scale across Marketing Services engagements.

Multi-Source Data Synthesis & Pitch Support

  • Leverage multiple data sources, including MRI-Simmons, Mintel, proprietary Visa research, VisaNet transaction data, consumer surveys, industry reports, and other third-party or internal sources.
  • Synthesize quantitative and qualitative information across sources to identify meaningful patterns, tensions, opportunities, and strategic implications.
  • Partner with North America Marketing Services teams to support account planning, client pitches, proposals, strategic briefs, thought leadership, and new marketing initiatives.
  • Develop client-ready stories that frame market opportunities, audience needs, category shifts, behavioral trends, and potential marketing strategies.
  • Partner with internal analytics and data teams to access, interpret, and apply Visa proprietary data appropriately and responsibly.

Insight Storytelling & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Translate complex data into clear, persuasive narratives for business, marketing, and client audiences.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations that connect data, trends, insights, implications, and recommended actions.
  • Present insights regularly to clients, senior stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Build trusted relationships with Marketing Services leadership, account teams, strategy, creative, analytics, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Help raise the profile of North America Insights & Analytics as a source of strategic intelligence, trend expertise, and business-building ideas.
