The Consumer Solutions organization is responsible for Visa’s core consumer product strategy, development, and go-to-market execution across Asia Pacific, spanning Credit, Debit, Prepaid, and emerging consumer propositions. As Consumer Solutions continues to scale, growth increasingly depends on how effectively products are translated into clear segment value propositions and executable sales plays that markets can deploy consistently.

The Affluent & Sales Plays team owns end-to-end Affluent strategy and go-to-market execution across priority consumer segments. The team partners closely with Marketing, Communications, Client Services, Visa Consulting & Analytics, Global and Market product teams to convert product capabilities into differentiated, repeatable solution bundles and commercial sales plays that drive adoption and growth across Asia Pacific.

What The Senior Director, Affluent & GTM Will Do

The Senior Director, Affluent & GTM will own the regional Affluent strategy and go-to-market execution for Consumer Solutions across Asia Pacific. The role is accountable for defining how Visa competes and wins across key consumer segments by translating product capabilities into clear value propositions, sales narratives, and scalable sales plays that markets can execute with confidence.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Own the Affluent segment strategy and GTM execution, ensuring Visa remains the leading payment choice for Affluent consumers across Asia Pacific.
  • Lead client-facing commercialization of premium flagship Affluent propositions
  • Drive regional thought leadership and competitive intelligence for Affluent, actively monitor competitive developments, consumer trends and market performance to refine segment strategy, future product and GTM priorities
  • Define and deliver end-to-end, “One Visa” sales plays that package product capabilities into market-ready propositions, including positioning, target clients, priority use cases, and execution guidance.
  • Partner closely with regional Product, VCA, Sales, Client Services, Marketing, Communications and Market teams to enable consistent execution of sales plays across diverse Asia Pacific markets to support external messaging, sales enablement and client engagement
  • Establish key success metrics and adoption KPIs to drive success of Affluent and Consumer Products performance and sales play effectiveness, using insights to continuously refine go-to-market strategies.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in business, marketing, strategy, or a related discipline preferred.
  • 15 years experience in segment-based go-to-market strategies, sales plays, or commercial enablement within a regional or global organization.
  • Deep understanding of consumer payments, consumer segmentation, and how products are commercialised through sales and market teams.
  • Proven ability to translate complex product portfolios into clear value propositions and executable GTM strategies.
  • Strong track record of working cross-functionally across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Market teams to drive aligned execution and commercial results.
  • Executive-level communication skills with experience engaging senior regional and market leadership.
  • Comfort operating in a matrixed environment with high ambiguity, balancing strategic direction with practical execution.
