Job Description
Position Overview
The Manager, Performance Analytics and Strategy will focus on delivering actionable insights and strategies to drive revenue growth for Visa’s Authorize.Net (ANET) payment gateway and Verifi dispute management platform. This role will partner with product development to ‘productize’ performance insights for Authorize.Net’s next generation platform upgrade, ensuring it delivers relevant data and analytics to empower merchants and partners to accelerate their business growth as well as inform key internal stakeholders on business strategies. The role will leverage data to identify revenue opportunities, track performance, and strengthen key merchant and partner relationships. The role will also work closely with the Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to drive growth through cross-functional collaboration.
Essential Functions
Revenue Growth & Strategic Insights
- Develop strategies to grow revenue by leveraging data for new sales, upsell, cross-sell, and partnership opportunities within the Authorize.Net ecosystem.
- Build insights to ’productize’ performance insights, focusing on data needs for delivery to merchants and partners.
- Track merchant performance metrics to grow revenue and identify value-added service opportunities.
Advanced Data Reporting & Insights
- Conduct in-depth analysis to support revenue-driving initiatives, focusing on partner-specific opportunities.
- Maintain a comprehensive reporting infrastructure to track KPIs such as payment volumes, revenue growth, and service adoption.
- Build performance dashboards to monitor key metrics related to merchant activation, onboarding efficiency, and vertical-specific growth.
- Present insights in a clean, clear and concise format, ensuring data is simple and actionable.
Presentation & Communication
- Deliver data insights clearly and effectively using PowerPoint and other tools, ensuring stakeholders understand and can act on the information.
- Create visually compelling presentations and reports to deliver key findings that support decision-making.
- Present findings to senior leadership in a concise, professional manner.
Strategic Business Support
- Collaborate with the Product team to ensure that the next-gen platform can monitor revenue driving growth metrics and deliver necessary merchant/partner insights.
- Partner with the Marketing team to develop insights supporting go-to-market strategies and improving customer activation experience.
- Work with the Sales team to identify and execute growth opportunities, supporting upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
Relevant Experience
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
- Performance analytics experience: Proven experience in leveraging data for insights, particularly within payments or merchant services.
- Presentation skills: Ability to present complex data clearly and simply using PowerPoint and other tools, with a focus on delivering impactful presentations to senior leadership.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Experience working with product development, marketing, and sales teams to align strategies and achieve revenue growth goals.
- Strategic business insights: Ability to identify trends in data, develop growth strategies, and translate insights into actionable business decisions.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• Experience in performance analytics and tools like SQL, Power BI, Tableau, with a focus on strategy consulting, payments or merchant services.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and performance improvements through data insights.
• Advanced Degree (MBA, PhD) in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Strategic Management, or Data Science.
• Experience in the payments industry or with small business solutions.
• Proven experience in supporting go-to-market strategies, driving business growth through insights, and/or productizing performance insights.
• Consulting experience, particularly in management or strategy consulting roles.
• Familiarity with tools and frameworks that enhance performance insights and strategy development.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,700 to 200,700 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
