Job Description
Visa is seeking for an experienced Senior Manager with an exceptional ability to negotiate and close deals, find and create unique business opportunities with clients, strategic thinker, brilliant presenter and storyteller, skilled in relationship management and business growth for a group of assigned clients as Visa main marketing point of contact.
As a part of Marketing Services team at Visa, Senior Manager will be responsible for strategic planning, identifying opportunities, designing programs and executing Visa marketing activities with partners and clients (banks, merchants etc.) to support the achievement of local business and brand objectives in SEE markets (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Albania) and Caucasus (Georgia).
Key responsibilities:
Design and execute long-term bespoke marketing programs for the clients, based on vast expertise in payments and a rich depth of marketing knowledge to scale clients’ business and accelerate growth
Develop and implement strategic marketing and communication plans designed to meet client expectations, run co-branded marketing campaigns with clients by providing insight driven, data focused and actionable recommendations and end-to-end marketing solutions for assigned products and services across the card lifecycle and beyond
Develop and implement integrated client marketing plan for assigned client business on a yearly basis and update quarterly as appropriate, track progress to ensure KPIs are achieved
Deliver marketing insights & data capabilities to drive deep partnerships with clients including research, studies and best practice benchmarking through the Visa marketing community
Pro-actively engage in client pitches to fast-track growth of VIK (Value-in-kind) projects
Align Visa Product, Marketing and Sales objectives and resources against client business needs, partner with VCA and Solutions to ensure bundled approach in selling services to client to better meet client objectives
Communicate Visa led campaigns as requested with the clients, use local and global sponsorship opportunities and Visa partnerships with the key relevant players in the market to drive client business with Visa
Apply analysis of card payment trends, market opportunities, cardholder behavior to digital and social marketing and plan in order to make strategic recommendations on future business direction
Manage the allocated budget for respective assets and activities and ensure all activities are performed within parameters fully and on time in accordance with Visa policies and requirements
Continually monitor existing and potential competitor marketing activities to identify new opportunities or highlight potential causes for business concern, feedback and update all staff as appropriate and recommend strategies and solutions
Provide quantitative post campaign and regular performance analysis in due time and incorporate learnings into future projects
Ensure all campaigns comply with the brand strategy, visual guidelines and Visa policies
Effectively manage business relations with the clients to ensure high NPS rate
Manage the relationship with agencies and partners to ensure top level execution
Manage the admin work and processes related to client contracting
Share best practice and successful programs with other Visa Regional offices
Ensure key stakeholders are fully informed on all campaign activities
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in business or a related field with a marketing foundation
- Significant experience in marketing, working with big clients on developing and executing co-marketing campaigns. 10+ years in a role related to partnership marketing programs and activities. Experience working in or with the bank, knowledge of payments systems and cards industry will be a plus
- Innovative and creative thinker with a track record of delivery and ability to manage several projects concurrently and see them through from conception to conclusion
- Brilliant negotiator, able to persuade with strong, data-driven argumentation
- Sales exposure and strategic thinker
- Strong team player, able to multitask on complex projects and in multi-functional teams
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, hands on, growth orientated work environment, must be adaptive to change

- Fluent Serbian, English
- Candidate must be open to travel as relevant within Visa safety and security policies
