Job Description

The Digital Solutions Product Manager will play a pivotal role in the LAC digital product team. This role involves managing token-related product solutions across various stakeholders including Visa's issuers, acquirers, group service providers, merchants, e-commerce enablers, wallet providers, browsers, and third-party payment processors. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams both internally and externally to prioritize, define, and drive the product development lifecycle, with a particular focus on the Click to Pay product.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess a unique combination of leadership skills and technical hands-on experience. A deep understanding of the business, technical, and operational aspects of product management and development is essential. Industry-leading experience in card processing, payment network processing, e-commerce, mobile technology, digital payments, issuance, offers, loyalty programs, rewards, digital enablement, customer experience and adoption, research and analytics, financial analysis, and technical execution is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on the implementation and execution of the eCommerce Token Strategy, working closely with colleagues both in the LAC region and globally.
  • Responsible the day-to-day execution of the Click to Pay Go To Market Strategy and market readiness across LAC
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Visa's eCommerce products and strategies, providing technical support to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Define key performance metrics for our eCommerce operations and develop dashboards and reporting capabilities for systematic tracking of payment performance.
  • Lead the deployment of Click to Pay and other digital propositions across all stakeholder groups including issuers, acquirers, payment gateways, merchants, and processors.
  • Place a focus on implementing eCommerce Authentication User experiences across all use cases.
  • Provide in-depth technical sessions for Digital products and solutions, ensuring all stakeholders understand the implementation process for product offerings.
  • Communicate and train Issuers and Merchants on relevant Click to Pay platform and services (API, SDK, & Third-Party/Partner Implementations), from the overall architecture to the nuances of individual messaging protocols.
  • Provide advice and guide clients (Issuers, merchants, and 3rd party wallet providers) and especially current TSP Partners on Push Provisioning and SRC integration and services.
  • Be a technical leader and an integration advocate of Click to Pay (Secure Remote Commerce) across LAC, internally for Visa teams and externally to clients.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the global product roadmap, analyzing the regional impact and managing internal/external discussions on integration alternatives given the regional ecosystem.
  • Manage and update VICA API (Push Provisioning) impact to TSP/Clients, considering Click to Pay functional requirements, SRC (mass provisioning) and Token requestor impact for merchant.
  • Execute the technical integration with Clients/ TSP for all push provisioning /VICA API Services.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or an Advanced degree with 1+ year of experience. Engineering/ technical background preferred.
  • 5+ years in the banking or payment industry, with a focus on technical product management
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of technical product management and digital products.
  • Knowledge of technical architecture and Javascript APIs.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in payments or technology industry, eCommerce preferred.
  • Experience with digital banking, eCommerce, and payment models.
  • Familiar with digital solutions, mobile payments, and authentication methods.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
  • Other relevant work experiences: product deployment, product integration, technical product management, reporting, and system integration

  • Exceptional communicator – effective in interacting and building relationships across all levels of Visa and client organizations.
  • Able to adapt communication strategies to the needs of their audience (e.g., simplifying complex technical messages).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Creativity in solving technical and business problems. E-commerce payment background in LAC is a plus.
  • Efficient in implementing processes and managing concurrent projects with different schedules and timelines.
