North America FP&A
The North America Revenue FP&A Team is seeking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst to its broader team supporting Drivers of North America Revenue. The team is responsible for business drivers, including Payments Volume of 6T per annum, gross revenues, client incentives, and net revenue of 10B+ per annum (with net revenue a key measure of performance). The Team is tasked with developing conceptually sound, rigorous, and detailed understandings of all of the various elements that impact net revenue, with the goal of optimizing financial performance and delivering against financial goals. This is supported by core planning & analysis responsibilities, the ongoing drive to uncover new insights and suggest improvements, and by either making or enabling business decisions.
Position Summary – Senior Financial Analyst, NA Drivers
The role will be responsible for evaluating, designing, maintaining, and improving financial models to support analysis of North America transactions and payment volumes. The role will cover both in-depth analysis of reported results as well as working on financial data analytics to forecast business trends.
The role will report to the North America Drivers Finance Lead with the expectation to drive efficiencies, improve forecasting, and enhance drivers trend analysis. The candidate will be a key member of the highly visible NA Revenue FPA team and collaborate across a matrixed organization.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Lead month-end activities, analyze monthly and quarterly results, identify and interpret key variances, trends, and insights, present key findings to management
- Creating and maintaining detailed operating expense tracking for NA VCS, providing management with detailed insights into material variances
- Contribute to Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting activities within the scope in line with regional and global requirements
- Combine observed patterns and trends and create accurate forecasts, able to triangulate and exercise judgement.
- Learn and understand Visa’s financial reporting systems, run data queries, develop financial architecture, and support finance technology initiatives
- Evaluate existing models and seek opportunities to introduce new tools and identify areas of opportunity for improvement and efficiencies
- Collaborate and coordinate with a broad base of stakeholders

- Very strong analytical skills, able to pull and analyze financial data, hands-on experience developing complex financial models and with solid foundation in Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering or relevant technical field
- Investment banking, management consulting, or payments/card industry experience strongly preferred
- Ability to influence stakeholders and cross functional teams
- Experienced with multiple complex financial systems (e.g. Hyperion, TM1, Tableau) strongly preferred, with pre-existing knowledge of Visa systems and practices a plus
- Superior problem identification and solving skills with ability to communicate effectively with executive management
- Detail oriented and well organized, ensures accuracy and quality
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with other functional areas and understand the operational and commercial issues relevant to achieving superior results
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 118,500 to 171,750 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
