Join Visa as a Senior Manager in the CMS Global Strategy & Operations team, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Visa Government Solutions (VGS). As part of Visa's Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) group, VGS is a relatively new and strategic focus area aimed at forging partnerships with governments globally to drive innovative payment solutions and tackle pressing societal challenges. This role is central to identifying new growth opportunities, operationalizing the Visa2030 strategy, and providing thought leadership to support market success.

Role Overview: Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations
We are seeking a strategic thinker and leader to join the CMS Global Strategy & Ops team as a Senior Manager. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying new areas of growth, operationalizing the Visa 2030 strategy, and providing thought leadership on how we can support markets to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities within the VGS segment, leveraging market insights and trends.
- Drive the operationalization of the Visa 2030 strategy, ensuring alignment with VGS objectives and market needs.
- Provide strategic thought leadership to support markets in achieving their goals, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Develop frameworks and methodologies to replicate and accelerate successful initiatives across different regions.
- Lead the refinement of operating models to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in a matrix environment, balancing generalist and specialist roles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate strategies and operational plans seamlessly.
- Facilitate strategic discussions and leadership meetings, delivering insights and recommendations on key strategic topics.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and business performance to inform strategic decision-making.
Hybrid Work Model:
This is a hybrid position, offering a blend of remote and in-office work. Employees are expected to work from the office two days a week, typically on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a general expectation of being in the office 50% of the time, based on business needs.
Qualifications
- Significant experience (8+ years) in strategy development, management consulting, or a related field.
- Experience working in financial services, payments, or technology sectors is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and projects.
- Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas and influence stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
