Job Description

Team Summary

The Talent Management & Development (TM&D) team in Asia Pacific is part of Visa’s broader People function and plays a critical role in shaping the leadership and talent agenda across the region. We create the insights, strategies, and practices required to unlock the full potential of our people and ensure we have the leadership needed for the future. Our work spans performance management, talent planning and succession, career development, and leadership development.

What a TM&D Manager does at Visa:

As a Manager in the TM&D team, you will be responsible for driving the execution of key talent and leadership initiatives across the Asia Pacific region. You will partner closely with regional People Business Partners (PBPs), People Advisors (PAs), and global/regional COE teams to ensure seamless delivery of programs and processes that elevate the employee experience and strengthen Visa’s leadership pipeline.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as primary point of contact and subject-matter expert for process and reporting details related to our core Talent Management practices (e.g. promotions, objective setting, performance management, talent planning etc.)
  • Monitor and report on key talent metrics and analytics to assess adoption of TM&D solutions, evaluate effectiveness of programs and practices, and help inform opportunities for improvement across the region
  • Coordinate centralized tracking and calendaring of regional talent discussions, in alignment with global timelines
  • Support with the development of executive-level presentations by running reports, conducting qualitative / quantitative analysis, and providing insights
  • Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of TM&D processes and tools.
  • Support the implementation of career development strategies and tools, ensuring alignment with Visa’s broader talent philosophy and regional needs
  • Lead the program management and execution of regional leadership development initiatives, including vendor coordination, participant communications, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to localize and implement global TM&D programs.
  • Provide project management support for cross-functional initiatives within the TM&D portfolio.

Qualifications

What you will need:
We are looking for someone who brings a strong mix of analytical thinking, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. You should be passionate about talent development and thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
  • Experience in HR, Talent Management, Learning & Development or Management Consulting
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, experience with qualitative and quantitative data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working in a regional or global role within a multinational organization
  • Familiarity with talent management systems and tools
  • Exposure to leadership development programs and vendor management
  • Consulting experience or a strong consulting mindset, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels.
