Job Description

The Strategy & Reporting Senior Manager will report to the Vice President of Global People Solutions (GPS) and provide leadership to a global team responsible for delivering exceptional colleagues experiences, centralizing and optimizing People lifecycle processes and enhancing global solutions for the People Team. This role will play an integral part in developing stronger partnerships across the organization, driving data-driven decision-making, and enhancing organizational maturity through the GPS Make It Possible Strategy.

The leader is responsible for the development, implementation, and effective execution of global GPS Make it Possible Strategy across Best-in-Class Operations, Productive partnerships, and great place the work. This role will focus on the elevation of GPS performance, driving alignment, global consistency, and speed of execution. This will include the implementation of an integrated and aligned strategy to grow and sustain our People Solutions value proposition and value to Visa colleagues and business partners. Key to success of this role will be the ability to developing holistic internal solutions, building an integrated roadmap for execution, and partnering across the GPS Leadership team to demonstrate results and impact of execution. This leader will need to build strong relationships across the People team.

The Senior Manager will be responsible for risk management, compliance, quality assessment, financial tracking, and productivity management. They will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead operational oversight and performance of the GPS organization across all facets of operations. This includes our premier services, our optimized processes, our partnerships in the region and the colleague culture across the region.

  • Leverage the GPS Scorecard to report on regional performance and report regional analytics- Manage and oversee GPS internal operations, ensuring consistency and excellence in service and delivery.
  • Represent GPS at the regional level and drive the productive partnership strategy for our regional partners within the People Team including our COE’s, People Advisors and People Business Partners.
  • Partner with the People Team and beyond to develop a pipeline of new work opportunities in partnership with the GPS Leadership team – support the execution of this roadmap throughout the year including reporting and communicating with leaders.
  • Collaborate with cross functional leaders to implement our productive partnership strategy by understanding our partners business needs and proactively adopt initiatives to win in enhancing the value the organization brings to support our partners.
  • Proactively identify, resolve, and manage issues that arise across the region as a front face to the region for escalations and urgent business needs.
  • Partner with the GPS leadership team to implement solutions that help eliminate future issues and revert to our stakeholders with solutions, next steps, and execution plans.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and utilize metrics and analytics to ensure strong stakeholder satisfaction, while identifying opportunities for performance and service quality improvement.
  • Ensure that GPS delivery is adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and drive the Great Place to Work strategy to enhance and adopt a positive site culture, achieving high performing culture scores.
  • Support talent planning discussions to ensure GPS had high performing talent operating in region.

Lead and implement the GPS Shared Service Strategy and Governance Model including:

  • Lead the management of our GPS Make it Possible Strategy across the teams including understanding interdependencies and bringing alignment across GPS to ensure prioritization of work and deliverables based on impact and future results.
  • Support the development, roll out and reporting of GPS OKR’s to drive alignment across the team.
  • Development the GPS reporting strategy for GPS including maintenance of the GPS global and regional scorecard with a focus on reporting tangible impact and results.
  • Evaluation of opportunities and development of proposals for continuous improvement and recommendations for how GPS can elevate and enhance performance including the creation of capacity for the People Team.
  • Lead and manage all GPS Leadership Monthly Governance forums and leadership forums including development of logistics, planning for agenda and effective execution for these leadership forums and driving outcomes.
  • Monthly Shared Service Executive Reporting of operational, transformational, and other MIP reporting requirements
  • Lead the development, implementation and execution of the GPS Partnership model including:
  • Develop and drive effective global strategies to build trusted partnerships with strong focus on joint alignment on GPS initiatives across all regions.
  • Preparation, planning, and logistics for GPS Shared Service Business Partnership Board forums
  • Development and progression of joint objectives for People Team partnerships
  • Lead core team partnership executive updates in partnership with the GPS Leadership Team

Develop, implement, and manage risk management strategies and compliance frameworks.

  • Develop the GPS Strategy for Risk Management and Compliance
  • Proactively conduct risk reviews to identify and drive mitigation plans.
  • Ensure all audit findings are addressed and resolved, preventing repeat issues.
  • Partner with Visa’s compliance community to align on an annual program of compliance audits, share feedback on improving audit partnerships and how we support enhancing Visa’s compliance profile.

Oversee financial tracking, reporting, and forecasting activities.

  • Partner with PS&S Leadership to report on headcount and financial planning.
  • Lead the AOP annual budgeting process for Global People Solutions
  • Partner with Process Excellence to support productivity and capacity planning.
  • Develop the financial planning, forecasting and budgeting strategy for the organization.

GPS Great Place to Work Culture Strategy

  • Lead the GPS cultural strategy across the team with support from colleagues across GPS.
  • Stand up a formal training program for GPS to support ongoing training and career development.
  • Proactively partner with our People for People Partners to help support talent and succession planning.
  • Understand where GPS have capability gaps and support building the next generation of skills.
  • Support the development and implementation of GPS Communications and change management strategies for GPS.
  • Understand the GFS transformation initiative landscape to evaluate change management needs.
  • Building change management and communication strategies for senior leader approval
  • Developing content for implementation and execution of change management activities
  • Project management of deliverables supporting larger change management and communications leadership teams
  • Building communication materials and rolling out material across GFS (Internal and external)
  • Lead the preparation of GPS VP communication needs to drive the planning and preparation of all internal, external and stakeholder communication forums including GPS Leadership meetings, GPS Shared Service Site visits, SVP & VP one to one meetings, People Business Partner Engagements and Team presentations.
  • Coordinate and connect regional and global GPS shared service objectives across Best in Class, Trusted Partnership and Great Place to Work including driving scorecard of action items, providing GFS Shared Service VP with updates and driving strategies and proposal to support progression of key initiatives and objectives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Shared Services Organizations, Financial or People operations, Transformation or global process ownership leadership roles supporting a diverse range of functions and regions.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering strategic initiatives, project management, risk management, financial planning and communications strategies and proven success in managing and delivering complex cross-functional programs effectively.
• Ability to think strategically, challenge the status quo and develop proposals to drive the GPS Strategic objectives.
• Ability to proactively make strategic connections across the organization and identify opportunities to simplify or implement creative improvement solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines and fast pace in a rapidly changing environment.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communications skills
Ability to develop global communications materials and content across diverse audiences and drive messaging across functions.
Prepare and represent GPS at both internal and external events with C-Suite Leaders
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
Demonstrated experience in taking detailed analytics / information to synthesize into simple business and communications strategies and solutions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor KPIs, analyze metrics, and make data-driven decisions.
Confident, direct counselor with strong listening and verbal communication skills.
Ability to partner, collaborate and lead strategies through strong relationships with senior management.

Preferred Qualifications
• Proven record of accomplishment of driving strategy initiatives and delivering operational efficiencies in a global HR environment.
• Proven record of delivering global solutions for a large organization that brought global standardization, consistency, and efficiency.
• Experience developing and implementing HR, Technology or Financial strategies, policies, and procedures that align with business goals and objectives.
• Expertise in quality assurance assessments and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Financial acumen with experience in overseeing financial tracking, reporting, and forecasting activities.
• Multilingual, Spanish or Portuguese speaking and written capabilities
