Job Description

The Marketing Manager role is essential to lead the implementation of the national marketing plan initiatives (top line plans: outbound cross border, local offers, product-focused, sponsorships), support and drive client-specific marketing activities, and manage marketing agencies (creative, media, BTL, social media) to ensure delivery. This role also involves direct collaboration with clients to develop, activate, and optimize marketing programs that align with both client objectives and Visa’s strategic priorities. Additionally, the Marketing Manager oversees administrative aspects of marketing project management, including but not limited to procurement processes, contract management, and ensuring compliance with internal governance and approval processes. Attention to detail, careful and strategic planning, precise execution, and diligent reporting—including regular reporting of budgets and key numbers—are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop actionable Marketing proposals, leveraging Visa's assets and own personal expertise (including but not limited to) research and data insights, payment trends, brand and sponsorship assets, creative origination, digital marketing solutions, local and global best practices
  • Act as a key marketing point of contact for clients, supporting their business objectives through joint campaign planning, program activation, and ongoing consultation to maximize marketing impact. Client engagement and building relationships with the clients' marketing managers and stakeholders.
  • Manage and/or brief creative, media, and/or third-party agencies and suppliers to ensure delivery of marketing programs.
  • Manage budget, forecasts, and campaign results in collaboration with internal stakeholders, clients and third-party suppliers. Monitor overall country and client-funded activities spending and produce reporting and KPI’s. Adhere to Visa governance, process and procedures.
  • Apply careful and strategic planning to the development, execution, and assessment of marketing initiatives, ensuring that all activities are meticulously executed and carefully reported.
  • Recognize latest consumer & industry trends and innovate to develop new marketing strategies.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
