Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager with deep expertise in the Payments domain, enhanced with Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Architecture capabilities. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, operational excellence, and data-driven product development across Visa’s Acceptance Solutions platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy and execution for payment solutions, integrating AI-driven insights, predictive analytics, and data science models to enhance product capabilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver data-led product features, leveraging tools like Tableau, Power BI, Python, and Generative AI

  • Drive AI adoption across product lifecycle from ideation to deployment using GenAI tools for automation, summarization, and intelligent decision-making

  • Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover trends, optimize performance, and inform strategic decisions

  • Champion the use of data science frameworks and machine learning models to improve risk assessment, fraud detection, and customer experience

  • Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance systems and solutions that align with Visa’s technology strategy

  • Review and contribute to solution architecture documents, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility

  • Stay current with emerging technologies such as GPT, AI prompt engineering, and data orchestration platforms

  • Foster a culture of innovation, visibility, and peer recognition through initiatives like brown bag sessions and internal showcases

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
Experience in Payments, with proven success
Proficiency in data analysis, AI tools, and GenAI platforms
Familiarity with data visualization, dashboarding, and business intelligence tools
Strong understanding of solution architecture, system design, and technical documentation
Agile methodology expertise and experience working with Scrum teams
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,700.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
