DPS offers processing solutions to financial institutions. Our focus is to maximize the value we deliver within the ever-changing payments landscape. Our vision is to enable our clients to focus on innovation, customer experience and differentiating products/services by providing best-in class secure, robust, scalable, and reliable issuer processing product and services.
The Product Manager's primary responsibility is to build products and solutions that deliver delightful experiences with a substantial value proposition across the payments ecosystem. To be successful the individual must maintain a high level of coordination and collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholder teams globally. The ideal person for this role should have a passion for innovation in payments, technology, and product management, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to drive results within a complex environment.
In this role, you will work with internal and external clients to understand the solution they are looking to develop. They will have an understanding the competitive and market landscape, Visa and DPS solutions, and use that knowledge in engagements. She/he/they are expected to have a key role in setting the strategy and influencing the roadmap.
Essential Functions
The Product Owner will work cross-functionally to design, refine, and deliver innovative issuer processing solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with stakeholders — Work closely with clients, partners, business unit leaders, engineering, architects, UX teams, and global cross-functional teams to build, iterate, and refine new issuer processing solutions.
- Refine EPICs/features — Collaborate with stakeholders, perform market research, and analyze existing solutions to ensure business impacts are identified and addressed.
- Design for scalability — Ensure solutions are extensible to all clients and can support multiple use cases whenever possible.
- Participate in feature refinement — Create features and actively engage in refinement sessions to understand proposed solutions and identify potential areas of impact.
Agile Product Ownership
As the Product Owner on an Agile Scrum team, you will:
- Champion an agile mindset and bring product vision, customer insights, and feedback to the team.
- Break down features into actionable user stories and support development activities.
- Manage and prioritize the team backlog, adjusting to changing business and market conditions.
- Communicate status updates transparently with stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build, launch, commercialize, and communicate new product features.
- Deliver product/feature demos highlighting value propositions, features, and benefits.
- Own the feature through the entire development lifecycle — from inception to client consumption in production — including Go-to-Market (GTM) planning, service description, and onboarding documentation.
- Prioritize defects based on impact and keep stakeholders updated regularly.
Product Expertise & Leadership
- Serve as a subject matter expert in assigned product areas, communicating updates and soliciting feedback to improve offerings.
- Support and communicate the overall product vision to both internal and external stakeholders, aligning it with long-term business objectives.
- Demonstrate leadership by communicating openly, collaborating effectively, enabling, and inspiring others, and building strong partner relationships.
- Use solution/service knowledge to help shape future developments in alignment with customer needs.
- Identify opportunities for Visa Product to create market-leading solutions that deliver customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- 2+ years of Payments Product management experience, focused on B2B API Platform products.
- Strong understanding of REST, API technologies, architectures, authentication (OAuth, JWT), API documentation tools (OpenAPI/Swagger), and developer tools.
- Agile experience and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification are preferred but not required
- Technically adept, collaborative, and proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills. Able to work independently or in teams to develop solutions, coordinate cross-functional efforts, influence stakeholders, and address complex challenges effectively.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 117,700.00 to 170,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
