Job Description
Europe Ecosystem Risk is a department within the Risk group that is tasked with the role of upholding the security, integrity and resilience of the payment ecosystem.
In relation to acceptance risk this is achieved through the deployment of risk quality control and/or compliance programs. The programs are deployed through Visa Rules and additional client guidelines and Visa performs quality control leveraging proprietary tools, specialized third party vendors, regional risk teams, and other stakeholders. Ecosystem Risk also works with internal and external stakeholders to further its charter and initiatives.
The person in this role is to deliver Risk Program support across client processes in Europe, including detailed analysis Risk Program data and transaction analysis, management of client queries, and general administration of the Risk Program including arranging client reviews, review of policies and procedures and administration of the review remediation process. The role will require someone with willingness to travel in order to assist on-site reviews and client engagement across the Europe region.
The objective is to ensure the seamless operation of Risk Programs, assisting clients navigate the process and provide a solid basis to protect and drive revenue growth across the Risk Programs.
This person will collaborate closely with stakeholders in the wider Ecosystem Risk Team, providing data analytical support and production of industry leading presentations, utilizing the most up-to-date data visualization techniques.
Essential Functions
- Work closely with Ecosystem Controls management on the production of analytics and reports using tools, process, and initiative to gather evidence of irregularities to support the mitigation of ecosystem risk issues
- Communicate with Risk Program participants, including addressing client queries, processing of program applications within agreed SLAs
- Perform desktop assessments of high risk and emerging risk clients
- Schedule and manage pre visit administration for onsite Visa Integrity Risk Program reviews
- Provide analytical support to drive ecosystem risk compliance with High Integrity Risk compliance requirements
- Maintain control over the client Risk Program remediation process
- Production of industry leading PowerPoint presentations, utilising the latest data visualisation techniques
- Support regular and ad hoc reporting to Visa Europe Risk’s senior management, committees, leadership team, etc
- Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
- Excellent data analytical skills, and an eye for detail
- Proven data visualization skills, able to represent complex data in a clear and concise manner
- Payments card industry knowledge or experience
- Strong, demonstrable Microsoft product skills, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Self-starter who can communicate with an understanding of the company needs and enable people to move forward through complexity
- Good stakeholder management (internal and external)
- Self-driven with strong organisational skills
- Flexible and creative thinker with strong execution skills, generate out-of-the-box solutions, manage ambiguity, anticipate the impact of decisions/initiatives and able to move seamlessly from high level concepts to details
- Willingness to travel in order to assist on-site reviews and client engagement across the Europe region
