Why this role matters
- Deliver on Visa DPS payments processing for our Debit Card portfolio, turning network changes into market-ready capabilities that drive client value and revenue.
What you’ll do
- Translate complex Payment Network mandates and enhancements into clear business requirements—partnering with Technology and Client Services to ensure smooth client rollout.
- Sheperd end-to-end delivery—requirements, prioritization, development, testing, documentation, and client rollout—owning outcomes, not just artifacts.
- Support day‑to‑day operations and client escalations, partnering with internal teams to resolve issues, capture actionable learnings, and continuously build deep knowledge of each client’s business—operating model, KPIs, workflows, and success drivers—to inform product and process improvements.

- Deep subject‑matter expertise in payment processing, ideally with Visa DPS and the debit market.
- Proven product delivery across network or processor-driven enhancements and complex back‑office flows.
- Technical fluency to engage on specs, file formats, and settlement/reporting nuances—plus the curiosity to dig in.
- Operator mindset: structured problem solving, bias for action, and comfort rolling up your sleeves with Tech, Ops, and Clients.

Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in the full lifecycle of an authorization processing product enhancement including impact analysis, requirements gathering, technical requirements writing, technical designs reviews, prepare and be responsible for client documentation preparation to ensure accuracy and quality, and engage with internal and external partner on the delivered enhancement(s).
- Work closely with developers on reviewing and refining requirements to ensure developers understand requirements and what success looks like for the payment network enhancement.
- Support reporting of key activities, including proactive progress on requirements gathering and testing as well as issue management and resolution.
- Understand the commercial network processing market, clients, end-user needs, and competitive landscape.
- Exhibit leadership skills and a vision for how to get things done better and faster.
- Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to manage product development and project execution.
- Maintain a client-centered approach in strategy development and day-to-day operations.
Hybrid position requiring 2-3 days in a Visa office per week.
Location: Highlands Ranch, CO

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
- Detail oriented, with outstanding organizational skills, delivery, and sound decision-making ability.
- Ability to analyze sophisticated technical issues and provide direction toward resolution.
- Strong communication skills – listening, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to debate ideas with colleagues and partners in order to align on the best path forward.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and change. Works successfully with a high level of independence.
- Knowledge of the commercial payment industry and authorization processing
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Bachelor’s degree in related subject area: Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Exposure to payments ecosystem and lifecycle such as debit processing.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in building, commercializing and operating cross-platform products, preferred to be in debit payment space.
- Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately
- Process improvement experience including gap analysis and solution implementation.
- Change management certification and/or experience leading change.
Additional Information

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,300.00 to 180,050.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
