Job Description
Visa’s Corporate IT group is on a groundbreaking transformational journey to redefine our approach to technology. We are moving beyond the 'traditional' IT playbook of simply purchasing off-the-shelf solutions. Instead, we are transforming into a true engineering organization where customer experience is paramount, and we create highly leveraged platforms with a focus on operational excellence to ensure our platforms and services are resilient and robust. While we may leverage packaged software solutions like ServiceNow and Flexera, we are committed to innovating around their limitations to enhance user experience and scalability.
Job Scope
Visa’s Corporate IT group is reimagining enterprise technology, evolving into an engineering-focused organization that prioritizes customer experience and operational excellence. As the Director of Unified Communication, AV, and Streaming (Workplace Technology), you will be responsible for defining and executing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise-wide Unified Communications (UC), Audio Visual (AV), live streaming, and event technology platforms. This senior leadership role is accountable for driving innovation, operational excellence, and outstanding user experiences across a diverse portfolio of technologies—including conferencing (Teams, Cisco, Zoom, Webex), streaming and video production platforms, and virtual event solutions. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage key vendor partnerships, and ensure all platforms align with organizational goals while supporting transformation, business continuity, and workforce productivity.
This leader will drive technology adoption, innovation, and operational excellence across these platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences and supporting Visa’s transformation goals.

Lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives, overseeing platform integrations to deliver cohesive, secure, and reliable user experiences.
Align all workplace technology initiatives with broader organizational goals and transformation objectives.
Manage high-impact vendor relationships and strategic partnerships to ensure best-in-class solutions.
Provide executive updates on progress, risks, milestones, and issues via reports and presentations.
Oversee workforce planning, budget development, tracking, and forecasting to meet scope, schedule, and cost targets.
Innovation
Continuously evaluate and implement emerging UC/AV, streaming, and event technologies, including cloud migration, AI, automation, and security enhancements.
Promote the adoption of innovative solutions that enhance collaboration, productivity, and event experiences for both internal and external stakeholders.
Lead secure deployment practices, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
Operational Leadership
Oversee daily operations and support for all conferencing, AV, streaming, and event technology platforms (e.g., Teams Phone, Cisco UC, Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams Rooms, virtual event platforms, video production).
Ensure business continuity, exceptional customer service, and end-user satisfaction across all channels.
Manage change and adoption of new tools and platforms, driving user enablement and organizational readiness.
Provide resource allocation, budget oversight, and operational excellence for all related teams.
Team Leadership
Mentor, develop, and motivate high-performing, diverse, and global teams.
Set clear priorities and performance goals, fostering engagement and professional growth.
Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, driving consensus and cross-functional collaboration.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
