Job Description
The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of client’s origination solution for new-to-bank Credit card and Personal Loan customers, covering both run-ahead tactical delivery and future state alignment. The role focuses on analyzing and integrating digital application journeys, credit decisioning, customer communications and onboarding processes, while operating within legacy constraints and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead analysis for credit card and personal loan origination initiatives, using robust BA toolkit of BA skills and techniques to analyse and synthesise information, understand the organizational context and complete business analysis activities as they arise.
- Map current and future processes and outline key opportunities for improvement.
- Review policy, process and procedure and identify areas for improvement including leading simplification and delivery.
- Deliver end to end process improvements: identifying and implementing process optimisation opportunities that deliver value for colleague, customer and bank, align to strategic outcomes and comply with risk processes and frameworks.
- Establish and maintain strong stakeholder engagement that ensures clarity and alignment.
- Ensure the success of process optimisation effective change management and any post implementation activity required that ensures realization of benefits.
- Support any other projects and duties as required.
- Proficient in writing executive papers/board paper as required.
- Analyse and document integrations between client's digital channels and supporting platforms (e.g., Apex and eCredit).
- Assess impacts across operational teams.
- Support design of simplified customer journeys while meeting CCCFA and lending obligations.
- Partner with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and other stakeholders internal to the client.
- Maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate requirements clearly.
- Support UAT, go‑live readiness, and early stabilization.
- Ensure alignment with emerging future state design (nCino) where applicable.
- Client stakeholder and people leadership responsibilities to ensure squad is delivering to expectations.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
- Extensive business analysis experience and detailed knowledge of analysis tasks, elicitation techniques, documenting, presenting, and managing requirements with different stakeholders across business and technology teams.
- Solid understanding of consumer lending products, including lending suitability and affordability.
- Good understanding/experience in banking technologies and API’s.
- Ability to outline business requirements and articulate these in a way technology can deliver.
- Strong understanding of project management lifecycles, disciplines, and procedures.
- Ability to engage with people across different levels and to work with 3rd party software providers to deliver change.
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with proven influencing and facilitation skills.
- Experience working within and helping to guide Agile practices.
- Working knowledge of banking regulation, particularly CCCFA obligations.
- Working knowledge of lending origination processes.
- Basic understanding or experience working on open banking related projects.
- Experience that demonstrates the effective use of Confluence, Jira and Signavio will be highly valued.
- Commercial, focused on delivery and value, and able to make trade-off decisions.
- Excel, and PowerPoint with the ability to story tell using data and insights.
