Job Description
Visa’s Internship Program provides an immersive, 12-week journey where you’ll work on impactful projects that drive Visa’s mission forward. The Payment Products Development (PPD) division is the heart of Visa’s Technology Organization. PPD builds and manages VisaNet, the payment network that enables global commerce across all payment channels and payment types supported by Visa.
We are looking for a curious, motivated college intern to join a global Business Operations team focused on product delivery, operational excellence, and data‑driven decision‑making for the PPD division. This internship offers hands‑on experience supporting portfolio reporting, analytics, and process improvement initiatives, while learning how modern teams apply AI‑first approaches to project and portfolio management.
The intern will work under the guidance of experienced team members and collaborate with project managers, finance partners, and engineering teams. This role is designed to provide meaningful exposure to enterprise‑scale analytics, executive reporting, and emerging AI tools—while building strong foundational skills.
Key Responsibilities
With support and mentorship, the Associate Business Analyst Intern will:
- Contribute to analytics and reporting used for portfolio, program, and project visibility, including dashboards and recurring management reports.
- Support executive‑level reporting by reviewing inputs from stakeholders, validating data, and helping translate data into clear, concise narratives.
- Assist with KPI definition and tracking, working with team members to understand performance measures and reporting needs.
- Perform data mining and transformation from multiple source systems to help produce meaningful insights for decision‑making.
- Support AI adoption initiatives within PMO and Business Operations functions by exploring, testing, and documenting AI‑enabled workflows and use cases.
- Collaborate on process improvement efforts, including data collection, stakeholder input, and documentation of current and future‑state processes.
- Partner with project management and engineering teams to understand BI and reporting requirements and help maintain consistent metrics.
- Help standardize data and reporting across delivery methodologies and tools such as Waterfall, Agile, Kanban, Jira, Jira Align, and Clarity.
- Prepare materials and reports for management, project teams, and finance partners to support budget and resource discussions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, dashboards, and reporting practices.
All Visa roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Students pursuing a Bachelor's or master’s degree in business, Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field with a graduation date in December 2026-August 2027
- Coursework, academic projects, or internships involving data analysis, reporting, or business analytics
- Experience in creating reports, dashboards, or presentations through coursework or internships
- Familiarity with collaboration and productivity tools such as Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Exposure to data visualization or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Advanced Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to software delivery or project management concepts (Waterfall, Agile, Kanban)
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Jira Align, or Clarity
- Introductory experience with automation or scripting (e.g., Python, JQL, Power Automate) through coursework or personal projects
- Interest in or exposure to AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms
- Curiosity about emerging AI concepts (e.g., AI agents or workflow automation), with interest in learning more
Additional Information
U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated hourly range for a new hire into this position is $30-35/hr which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
