Who are we looking for

We’re looking for a quantitative analyst that is highly motivated, self-starting, passionate and intrigued by the crossroads of finance, mathematics, design, and computer science. As part of our R&D and development teams you will contribute to a broad range of applications including among others portfolio optimisation, fundamental factor analysis, AI-based news search engine, performance attribution etc. You will develop in Python and make the applications available via API to both apps managed by InvestSuite as well as 3rd party services.

Main responsibilities

• Maintain and develop quantitative finance applications to meet and exceed our customer’s needs.

• Implement and refine machine learning models for financial applications

• Design and implement clean and scalable solutions

• Adapt our techniques and solutions to stay ahead

• Conduct rigorous data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights in structured and unstructured financial data

• Perform code reviews and ensure best practices in software development

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantitative models into various applications

• Document and communicate methodologies, results, and findings to stakeholders

• Socialize your skills and elevate your colleague’s understanding of the possibilities

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in quantitative finance, machine learning, and related fields

Required skills & experience

• Graduate MSc / PhD's in mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering or computer science

• Professional experience in quantitative investment analysis

• Professional experience working with financial data sets and financial markets

• Advanced programming skills

• English fluency - spoken & written

Other skills & experience we would love to see

• Expertise in convex optimisation methodologies

• Experience in performance attribution

• Affinity with natural language processing

• Knowledge of cloud and serverless architectures (AWS)

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Experience with API development and integration

• Ability to work in an agile development environment

• Interest in financial technology (fintech) innovations
